1. About CozyGames and these terms
CozyGames is a Quebec-based Canadian business selling gaming desk mats and custom mousepads through cozygames.ca. “We,” “us” and “our” mean CozyGames. These terms cover use of this website and purchases from us, together with the product details, checkout disclosures and policies provided before your purchase.

Nothing in these Terms limits any rights or remedies available to consumers under applicable consumer protection legislation. Mandatory legal protections, including Quebec’s Consumer Protection Act and applicable legal warranties, prevail over any conflicting term or voluntary policy.
2. Using the website
Please provide accurate information needed to process your order and ensure that you are authorized to use your selected payment method. A person placing an order must have the legal capacity or authorization required to enter into the transaction. The storefront does not currently provide its own customer-account registration; any Shopify or Shop Pay account is managed through that service.
Do not use the site to commit fraud, upload unlawful material, infringe another person’s rights, interfere with the store or attempt unauthorized access. Measures taken to protect the site do not remove our obligations concerning an existing paid order or your statutory remedies.
3. Product descriptions and custom artwork
The current standard retail desk mat is 36 × 18 inches with a 4 mm thickness. Quads are a separate 18 × 16 inch format. Check the description, selected size and specifications for the particular product you purchase; a different expressly stated specification applies to that product.
Screen settings and the print process can affect colour appearance, but products must still conform to their description and applicable legal guarantees. A preview does not excuse a material difference, defect, incorrect item or fulfillment error.
For a custom mat, review the uploaded file, size and placement before proceeding. You must own or have permission to use the artwork and any personal information it contains. You grant us and the providers involved in making your order only the permissions needed to receive, process, reproduce and print that artwork and fulfill the order. Uploading artwork does not transfer its ownership or give us permission to use it in unrelated advertising. See our Intellectual Property information.
4. Prices, currency and payment
Current storefront prices are in USD (US dollars). The currency, item prices, applicable taxes, shipping charges, discounts and final amount payable are presented in Shopify checkout before you finalize payment. Your payment provider may charge currency-conversion or foreign-transaction fees under your agreement with it.
Free shipping is available when the Shopify cart subtotal reaches $100 USD. Checkout remains authoritative for eligibility and the final charge.
International orders may be subject to import duties, taxes or carrier fees. Charges collected by CozyGames are shown at checkout; additional charges may be payable to the carrier or customs authority on arrival. Duties-paid delivery is not guaranteed. See Shipping & Delivery for details. We do not impose an undisclosed additional charge after you have agreed to the transaction.
Changes to future prices or promotions do not retroactively change an existing purchase. If a price or description error affects an order, we will communicate with you and handle it in accordance with applicable law, rather than treating these terms as a right to disregard consumer protections.
5. Reviewing an order and confirmation
You can review your selected items, quantities and sizes in the cart, change quantities, remove items, or return to a product or the custom designer to correct a selection. In Shopify checkout, review your contact details, delivery address, shipping option, payment information, currency and total before using the final payment button. Contact us before paying if information is missing or unclear.
Shopify handles checkout for CozyGames. Keep the confirmation and receipt you receive, including the order reference, products, quantities, prices, charges and delivery information. Contact support@cozygames.ca if a confirmation is missing or contains an error. For a Quebec distance contract, the written contract must be provided in a form you can retain and print within the time required by law.
If an item cannot be supplied, we will contact you about the available options and any refund due. We will not substitute a materially different product without your agreement.
6. Shipping, delays and risk of loss
Every CozyGames desk mat is produced to order and printed in Canada. Production typically takes 1–2 business days. Once dispatched, delivery typically takes 8–14 days after dispatch, depending on destination, carrier conditions and customs processing. These are estimates rather than guaranteed delivery dates. Available services and charges are provided through checkout. Tracking information is sent after dispatch when the shipment is created.
We remain responsible for fulfilling our delivery obligations. Handing a package to a carrier does not automatically transfer all risk of loss to you or end our responsibility. If a shipment is late, missing, damaged or incorrectly delivered, contact us so we can investigate and provide the remedy required by the circumstances and applicable law.
Carrier, customs or other delays may affect an estimate, but do not cancel your statutory rights. If a delivery date changes, any revised agreement and any right to cancel or obtain a refund remain subject to applicable law. For Quebec consumers, see the distance-contract cancellation information.
Please verify your address and tell us promptly about an error. Any reasonable reshipping charge resulting from a customer-provided address error will be explained before it is charged and remains subject to applicable law. This does not excuse an error made by CozyGames or its fulfillment providers.
7. Cancellations, returns and warranties
Our voluntary made-to-order policy generally excludes changes of mind and customer-selected size or design errors; it allows cancellation requests within 24 hours, subject to whether production has begun. This voluntary policy is separate from, and does not shorten, a statutory cancellation right.
Damaged, defective, misprinted, incorrect or non-conforming products, fulfillment errors and lost shipments are addressed under our Returns & Order Issues Policy and applicable law. A request to report an issue within 30 days is not a deadline that extinguishes a legal warranty or other mandatory right. The advertised two-year warranty is additional to legal guarantees, which may apply for a different period.
8. Shopify and other service providers
Purchases on this website are made from CozyGames. Shopify provides commerce services such as the product catalog, cart and checkout. We also use providers for hosting, reviews, communications, printing and delivery. Their involvement does not waive our obligations as merchant or require you to release them from liability that applicable law imposes.
External services and links may have their own terms and privacy notices. Read those notices when using a separate service. Our own privacy practices are described in our Privacy Policy; browsing the website is not consent to optional tracking.
9. Website content and reviews
Website content and artwork remain subject to the rights of their respective owners. A purchase does not transfer copyrights, trademarks or other intellectual property rights. Nothing here represents that CozyGames owns every third-party work displayed on a product or that fan-art products are officially licensed by an underlying franchise. Rights holders can use the process in our Intellectual Property information.
If you submit a review, provide an honest account of your experience and disclose any incentive. You permit publication of the review and the display name you supply through the review service. Do not include confidential information or another person’s personal information without permission. Review submission is not permission for unrelated email marketing.
10. Legal protections and disputes
These terms are subject to Quebec law and applicable Canadian federal law, without depriving a consumer of mandatory protections in their place of residence. No term requires a consumer to give up access to a competent court, a statutory remedy, a legal warranty or a right to participate in a class action. We do not impose mandatory arbitration or a blanket waiver of liability for products or delivery.
Contact us first if you would like help resolving an issue. This is an invitation to seek assistance, not a prerequisite that restricts your right to contact a regulator or exercise a legal remedy.
11. Updates and interpretation
Updates will be dated and published here, with any additional notice required by law. An update does not retroactively change an existing order without a lawful basis or any agreement required by law. If a provision is invalid, the remaining lawful provisions continue to apply. Nothing in these terms excludes a representation or obligation that applicable consumer law makes part of your contract.
